Welcome to Guidefriend. These Terms & Conditions explain the rules and conditions for using Guidefriend’s services and booking experiences through our platform.

By booking a tour or using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Guidefriend’s Role

Guidefriend operates as a platform that connects customers with local guides.

Local guides provide tour experiences as independent service providers based on their own knowledge, expertise, and availability. Guidefriend facilitates communication and booking arrangements between customers and guides.

2. Booking Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed only after the customer has approved the tour details and the required payment has been successfully completed.

Before payment, Guidefriend or the assigned guide may communicate with the customer to confirm itinerary details, availability, meeting point, price, and special requests.

3. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and up-to-date information during the booking process.

  • Preparing any required documents.

  • Arriving at the agreed meeting point on time.

  • Informing Guidefriend or the assigned guide about any special requirements or circumstances that may affect the tour experience.

4. Local Guide Responsibilities

Local guides are responsible for making reasonable efforts to provide safe, high-quality experiences that match the details agreed during the booking process.

Local guides operate as independent service providers and are responsible for the services they provide.

5. Liability and Personal Risks

Customers acknowledge that travel activities and tour experiences may involve certain risks.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Guidefriend shall not be liable for personal injury, loss, damage, or unexpected events that may occur during or in connection with a tour experience.

6. Tour Changes and Modifications

Any significant changes to the tour itinerary, route, or experience details will only be made with the customer’s approval.

7. Customer Conduct During Tours

During the tour, customer conduct, safety considerations, and local circumstances are managed by the assigned guide.

The guide may take appropriate actions when necessary to maintain safety and protect the quality of the experience.

8. Photos and Media

The use of photos or videos taken during a tour is subject to agreement between the customer and the assigned guide.

Guidefriend recommends that both parties communicate clearly regarding the use of any tour-related media.

9. Booking Transfer

Customers may request to transfer their booking to another person.

Any booking transfer is subject to approval by Guidefriend and the assigned guide.

10. Age Requirements

Age requirements and conditions regarding children may vary depending on the type and nature of the tour and may be determined by the assigned guide.

Customers are responsible for checking any applicable requirements and providing relevant information before booking.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions and the use of Guidefriend’s services shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Kosovo.
