Ashgabat, Train Travel, Turkmenbashy and more - TOUR ITINERARY for 5 days & 5 nights: 

Day 1 (arrival - Ashgabat) Meeting tourists in Ashgabat International Airport, Turkmenistan. Transfer to the hotel and have a rest. Have a tour to Ashgabat city: Visit State Museum of Turkmenistan.

• - Constitution monument;  
• - “Älem” Ferris wheel;
• - “Berkarar” shopping mall;  

Drive to Garagum desert.  Visit burning Gas Crater (“Shine of Garagum”), Water Crater and Mud Crater in Derweze. Enjoy the sunset and the night view of Gas Crater.

Overnight in Turkmen Yurt / tent in Derweze

Day 2  Have a breakfast. Drive back to Ashgabat city. Have a tour to Ashgabat city: -  Ertogrul Ghazy Mosque. - Ashgabat amusement park. - Lenin Park; 

Visit Altyn Asyr Oriental bazaar / Teke Bazaar / Russian Bazaar (optional). 

Drive to Ashgabat Railway Station. 

Direct to Turkmenbashy city on Ashgabat-Turkmenbashy train (17:40). Overnight on the train. 

Day 3 Reach Turkmenbashy city (08:02). Sightseeing. 

Drive to Yangykala Canyon in Balkan region. Enjoy the nature of Canyon. Drive to Balkanabat city. Sightseeing. 

Drive to Balkanabat Railway Station.

Direct to Ashgabat on Balkanabat-Ashgabat train (18:52). Overnight on the train. 

Day 4 

Reach Ashgabat city (05:35). Visit “Halk hakydasy” set of monuments. Halk Hakydasy Memorial Complex is a memorial complex to the honour of those killed in the Battle of Geok Tepe in 1881, in World War II, and in the 1948 Ashgabat earthquake. 

Visit Ancient Nisa – one of the capital cities of Parthian Empire and was residence of Parthian Kings (III BC - III AD), included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. 

Visit Turkmenbashi Ruhy Mosque - the main mosque in Turkmenistan, the largest single-domed mosque in the world and the largest in Central Asia, where 20,000  people can pray at one time. 

Magtymguly Pyragy” complex of monuments. 

Check in and overnight in hotel in Ashgabat city. 

Day 5 (Ashgabat - departure) 

Check out the hotel. Drive to Ashgabat International Airport and departure. 

TRANSFER

Ashgabat International Airport – Ashgabat city – Ahal region – Derweze town –- Ashgabat city – Balkan region – Turkmenbashy city – Balkanabat city – Ashgabat city – Ahal region – Ashgabat city - Ashgabat International Airport.
